What does it mean to download an excel document full of stuff?

Look at the data. It's literally a dream come true to penultimate year students. No tedious website surfing to find out if a company is offering internships or graduate positions. pathfolios has already done it!

And you thought you missed a deadline to this big (or small) company.... not again if pathfolios is here!

You might be disappointed because you want a nifty search that compiles all this date (It is being coded as of 22/1/12). You might be confused; naturally, a bunch of excel documents popped out and you do not know what to do with it. You might be really happy that pathfolios provided so much information saving you all that excel data entry stuff. Or you might be a society that needs business contacts and this saved you 100 hours of mindless web surfing and someone who can use excel to the full extent and realise that all this information is gold.

How do you use the excel table really fantastically? pathfolios wrote a mail merge post. Use it if you can.

The information is quite hard to find. It's here already so why not use it.

How To Use The Data

Find the company you want and apply. Find all the deadlines. Find the contact. Sort names. Mail Merge the address data.

Steps below show how to technically use the information in excel.

Step Zero

Download the home page files.

First Step

Filter the data. To filter in Word:

Alt-D
Alt-F
Alt-F

Or in Mac:

Cmd-A
Cmd-Shft-F

Second Step

Click the little filter icon on the column you wish to sort. Find the company. Find the type of job. You can sort ascending to find out deadlines.

Third Step

Use the information and start applying. It is so soon isn't it?
